7.5t Licence

What Is The 7.5t Licence?

Paramedic Driver Training

If you're aiming to obtain a C1 licence in the UK and got your driving licence before January 1997, you're good to go. However, if you gained your licence after this date, here's what you need to do to start. Firstly, undergo a medical examination and ensure the doctor completes a D4 form. Send this along with a D2 form to request your C1 provisional entitlement to the DVLA. Next, sit two theory tests - one consisting of multiple-choice questions and the other assessing a series of hazard perception clips. Our team can assist you in booking these tests and provide study materials to help you prepare.

C1 Training

The C1 licence allows you to operate medium-sized vehicles. You would usually drive small trucks and ambulances, with a weight range between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes. This licence is the first progression beyond the standard car (B) licence, which allows operation of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes in weight.
